About Me
Hi, I’m Cecilia, the heart behind Maven Celebrations! My journey into event planning started in Vancouver, Canada, where I studied Event Management and worked on large-scale events—everything from multi-day festivals to grand openings. I also worked for a destination management company, coordinating seamless experiences for clients, and was part of the planning team for one of Canada’s largest fundraising events.
After moving to the U.S., I continued creating unforgettable experiences—both through my work at a nonprofit organizing events and camps for kids, and by crafting magical celebrations for my own family. Over the years, I’ve seen how overwhelming event planning can be, whether it’s a child’s birthday, an intimate gathering, or a corporate function. That’s where Maven Celebrations comes in!
